Heart Rate Monitors
Polar challenged TWM to design and produce a two-foot wide display to highlight Polar Electro’s product line of Heart Rate Monitors (HRM) at Best Buy. An approved Best Buy vendor, TWM designed the display within the Best Buy framework, while balancing the “flash” and “excitement” with a solid product experience solution.
Best Buy mandated that the display have a black header with white Polar logo. Beneath the header, a large display-wide LED backlit lifestyle graphic calls attention to the display from across the store. Behind each of the three showcased-products, three LED, backlit information panel graphics detail important product information. The injection molded pull box cover facilitates both current and future product while affording reasonable security capability via use of steel cable and retraction pulley. Included is the capability to trigger specific video feeds with a product lift on future units should a video player be installed at a later date. All backlit graphics are easily changeable in field. All products were installed at the time of manufacturing and can be updated as the product line evolves – in the field. Delivery to individual BBY stores, and the ability for easy installation by the BBY store staff reduced the overall program costs by eliminating the need for any outside set-up crews.
