Rutherford, NJ, July 2013: By winning the prestigious POPAI Gold OMA award in Chicago for its semi-permanent Belkin WEMO in-store display, Trans World Marketing has qualified to enter the Global EuroShop Retail Design Awards Competition, being held in Dusseldorf, German in February 2014.
For the EuroShop Retail Design Award, an international team of experts made up of representatives of leading press publications and retail associations nominates the best stores with the most successful concepts. This year 63 proposals from 22 countries were submitted. Entrants will be judged on a consistent (store) concept with clear communication of the product range, effective addressing of the target group and a successful mix of architecture, colors, materials, lighting and visual merchandising to convey the establishment’s idea/story to the customer clearly.
EuroShop is the world’s leading trade fair for capital goods in the retail sector. The topics at EuroShop range from shopfitting, store design, architecture, lighting, refrigerating technology, through visual merchandising, display advertising and POP marketing, to IT and security technology. In the year in which EuroShop is held, the award is presented at the EuroShop Retail Design Conference – the event that traditionally opens EuroShop.
EUROSHOP RETAIL DESIGN AWARDS
The independent jury of the EuroShop Retail Design Award is made up of prominent representatives from leading shopfitting and retail associations and the international trade press. Three equal-ranking winners will be selected from among the submitted projects in a two-stage process. EHI and EuroShop will initially nominate the projects for the final round from all the entries. The international jury will then assess the finalists on the basis of a consistent points system. The three projects with the highest number of points win the EuroShop Retail Design Award.
