Dusseldorf, Germany, February 2014: At the 4th Annual POPAI Global Awards ceremony in Dusseldorf, Germany, Trans World Marketing (TWM) was awarded the POPAI Global Award for the Belkin WeMo product launch. An independent team of retail marketing professionals judged the contest in five different languages, including Dutch, English, French, German, and Italian. “Participating in this contest as one of an elite group of entrants and then being selected as the recipient of a POPAI Global Award is truly an honor. To qualify for the POPAI Global Competition, TWM won the POPAI Gold OMA in the 2013 Global Shop OMA Award contest that recognizes the most innovative and effective retail marketing displays that lift sales and make products memorable and enticing to consumers. TWM launched the new Belkin home automation product called WeMo (WebMobile) at over 800 Best Buy locations across the country, delivering an engaging display that connected with shoppers and increased sales. The key features of the display included its simple brand messaging, easy to understand graphics, backlighting that highlighted the key selling features and a clean, fresh design.
